History of the Lyceum of the Chechen State University named after A.A. Kadyrov” originates from 2017, when Makhmutov Movsar Shervalievich, a graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Faculty of Physics and Engineering, was appointed the first director.
Today, the lyceum is an innovative educational institution that implements a range of educational services for programs of basic general education, secondary (complete) general education, as well as additional education programs.
The lyceum operates as a full-time school, which is composed taking into account age characteristics and the periodicity of physiological functions inherent in the human body, including working capacity.
In the first half of the day lessons are held, in the second - extracurricular activities (work in children's creative associations, excursions, walks, various types of individual and group classes, preparation for school, regional olympiads, etc.).
The principle of constructing a curriculum at the level of secondary general education provides for the existence of an individual educational route for each student and a developed method for its implementation.

In order to implement the strategy of continuous learning, the lyceum takes part in the Mendeleev Classes project, initiated by the Russian University of Chemical Technology named after D.I. Mendeleev. The project program provides for additional points to the Unified State Examination (up to 10 points) upon admission to the Russian Chemical Technical University. DI. Mendeleev and Chechen State University named after A.A. Kadyrov, as well as the qualification of "Laboratory Chemist" upon completion of training in the "Mendeleev class".
