Chechen State University held a festival of street cultures «Street art Grozny 2020»

A large-scale youth event "Street art Grozny 2020" was held by the Chechen State University with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). Active young people gathered in the Hussein bin Talal recreation park to take part in one of the most spectacular events of the autumn – the festival of street cultures. The event is traditionally held for the second year in a row and promotes the development of youth subcultures, as well as cultural, physical and intellectual development. "The main goals of the festival are to promote a cultural and healthy lifestyle and organize interesting leisure activities for young people," said Bekhan Satuev, pro-rector of the Chechen State University for strategic development and social work. The opening ceremony was attended by the KVN team of the Chechen State University and a concert program. After that, the Break-battle dance competition, in which artists from the regions of the North Caucasus Federal district competed, was presented to the attention of numerous viewers. At the same time, there were demonstrations in workout, streetball (one-ring basketball), checkers, BMX, skateboard and parkour. In addition, artists were able to demonstrate their talents by drawing stories and characters from the works of modern pop culture. One of the most impressive parts of the festival was the performance of the parkour team "Chechen parkour». Young people showed their dexterity and outstanding physical abilities, overcoming an improvised obstacle course and causing sincere delight of the audience. Moreover, an application was submitted to set the Russian record for the long-distance Arab somersault jump. Experienced athlete Turpal-Ali Bakuev decided to break the existing record for jumping over the line of 11 people. The first attempt was successful, but Turpal-Ali did not stop there and was able to jump the line of 14 people! At the end of the event, participants and winners were awarded certificates and diplomas, as well as symbolic gifts. The young people shared their positive impressions and thanked the organizers for the positive emotions they received.
