The Institute of Additional Professional Education is an educational structural subdivision of the Chechen State University named after A.A. Kadyrov, which provides additional professional education (advanced training) and international cooperation in accordance with a license for the right to conduct educational activities.

Those who have successfully mastered the relevant additional professional program and passed the final certification are issued qualification documents: a certificate of advanced training and (or) a diploma of professional retraining.

The content of additional professional education is determined by the educational program developed and approved by the University, unless otherwise established by the Federal Law of December 29, 2012 N 273-FL "On Education in the Russian Federation" and other federal laws.

Additional vocational education is carried out through the implementation of additional professional programs (training programs and professional retraining programs) on-the-job, part-time and on individual forms of education.

The implementation of the advanced training program is aimed at improving the existing and (or) obtaining new competencies necessary for professional activities, and (or) improving the professional level within the existing qualifications and for mastering modern methods for solving professional problems.

The structure of the advanced training program provides a description of the list of professional competencies within the framework of the existing qualification, the qualitative change of which is carried out as a result of training.

The implementation of the professional retraining program is aimed at obtaining the competence necessary to perform a new type of professional activity, acquiring a new qualification.

The content of the additional professional program being implemented takes into account professional standards, qualification requirements specified in the qualification reference books for the relevant positions, professions and specialties, or qualification requirements for professional knowledge and skills necessary for the performance of official duties, which are established in accordance with federal laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation.

The functions of the institute include: providing a range of services for organizing and conducting advanced training and professional retraining, improving the professional level of specialists, updating the theoretical and practical knowledge of students, the need for them to master modern methods of solving professional problems, expanding the educational space of the university, creating additional educational opportunities for a wide circle of potential listeners, specialists of enterprises (associations), organizations and institutions, civil servants, laid-off workers, unemployed population and unemployed specialists.

The Institute provides training under an additional professional program on the basis of an agreement on the provision of paid educational services concluded with students and (or) with an individual or legal entity that undertakes to pay for the training of a person enrolled in training, or at the expense of budgetary appropriations from the federal budget, the budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation . Also, civil servants of the ministries and departments of the Chechen Republic are trained at the institute in advanced training courses.

Additional education of the adult population, and above all managers and specialists, today requires solving urgent problems of a consistent transition from a discrete to a self-adjusting state-public system of continuous education, which has an extensive network of educational institutions that has in its structure the entire range and set of educational institutions and subdivisions of the advanced training system and professional retraining of personnel.
