The Department of Accounting, Analysis and Audit in the Digital Economy is the oldest department of the university, whose history begins in 1976 with the creation of the Department of "Specific Economic Disciplines" for training personnel in the specialty "Accounting". The main goal of the department's development is to provide professional training of qualified specialists in the field of accounting, economic analysis and audit to meet the needs of the labor market in the digital economy. The department implements bachelor's degree programs in the direction 38.03.01 "Economics", profile "Accounting, analysis and audit", as well as master's degree programs in the direction 38.04.01 "Economics", programs "Accounting, analysis and audit" and "Business Analytics". The Bachelor's degree program in 2021 was internationally accredited by the IAAR agency, a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance of Higher Education (ENQA). The department pays great attention to the scientific work of students - the department has a student scientific circle "Accountant". To improve the practical skills of students at the department, training laboratories "Automation of accounting data" and "Automation of electronic document management in accounting" have been opened. An important direction in the activity of the department is to improve the educational programs of the department, taking into account the recommendations of leading software developers for accountants, as well as employers. The Department has concluded cooperation agreements with Tensor, a developer of software for accounting and electronic document management (VLSI) (2022), with the developer of 1C Softtechno products (2020), as well as with potential employers.
