The Faculty of Philology trains highly qualified linguists and literary critics who are able to freely navigate in Russian and foreign literature, Russian and European culture, familiar with classical languages (Latin, Old Slavonic), have the skills to work with the most common types of text editors and automation tools of translation. Students acquire the skills and abilities to work with texts in literary, linguistic and linguistic aspects of all levels of difficulty in Russian, Chechen and English. Starting from the first course, students are widely involved in scientific projects and conferences. Our graduates are in demand in the system of science and education (universities, colleges, schools, scientific institutes), in the press (editorial offices of newspapers and magazines, publishing houses, on the radio and television), in the public service (MFA, archives, libraries, museums), in travel agencies, in Russian and foreign firms of various profiles. Fundamental philological and wide humanitarian trainings allow graduates of the faculty to continue their studies in postgraduate and doctoral studies, easily master new additional and related professions.
